Drifters Girl Leeds Grand Theatre

It was a packed house tonight at The Leeds Grand to watch The Drifters Girl.  A story about The Drifters, one of the greatest vocal groups and the women Faye Treadwell who would Manage them for thirty years after the passing of her husband George Treadwell. She fought hard to turn the group into a worldwide sensation with the songs signed to Atlantic Records.
Loren Anderson played Faye Treadwell her voice was Phenomenal as were the rest of the cast. I enjoyed their accents ranging from American to Birmingham to Liverpool.
Faye had her legal battles and fought to protect the group she had worked with over those years.
The favourite songs were included such as Under the Boardwalk,  Stand by Me, Kissing in the back row of the Movies, Save the Last Dance for Me and many more.
Towards the end of the night the cast encouraged the audience to stand up and Dance by their seats. The Majority of them clapped and danced along to the Medley of Drifters Songs.
At the end of the show the cast took their bows and received rapturous applauses from the audience.

The Cast consists of the following: Carly Mercedes Dyer,  tonight Loren Anderson was playing Faye Tredwell.
